Up 3-0 in OHL playoffs
Six teams — Kitchener Rangers, Windsor Spitfires, Flint Firebirds, Soo Greyhounds, Brantford Bulldogs and Ottawa 67’s — all have three games to none leads in the opening round of the Ontario Hockey League playoffs.
Kitchener (over the Saginaw Spirit), Windsor (over the Guelph Storm), Sault Ste. Marie (over the London Knights), Brantford (over the Sudbury Wolves) and Ottawa (over the Kingston Frontenacs) all took the commanding 3-0 advantages with wins on Tuesday. Flint had gone up 3-0 in its series with the Owen Sound Attack on Monday.
In the other two opening round sets, the Barrie Colts lead the Niagara IceDogs two games to one while the Peterborough Petes and North Battalion are knotted at 2-2.
