U16 Spitfires ready to roll
Head coach Matt Zuccato likes what he is seeing from his Under 16 Windsor Jr. Spitfires ahead of the ’25-26 season as members of the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario.
The AAA U16 Jr. Spitfires have an exhibition game in Chatham on Sunday against their Alliance Hockey rival Cyclones before a season opening tournament in Toronto that is being hosted by the Titans.
“We are extremely happy with the work our players put in over the off season,” Zuccato relayed to Hockey News Windsor. “Our practices have been high intensity and you see the eagerness to learn and that’s all we can ask for right now.
“We are looking forward to our pre season game against Chatham and seeing our players apply what they have learned so far. It’s been a very tight group in such a short time together. We are looking forward to the Titans tournament to kick off our season,” added Zuccato.
“We are finding our identity real fast and how we want to play. Looking forward to a great start and continue to build off that,” Zuccato concluded.
