U15 Tecumseh takes two

A pair of weekend wins has lifted the Tecumseh Eagles into third place among the eight teams of the hotly contested, Under 15 rep level Bluewater Hockey League.

Coached by Jeff Smith, Tecumseh began the weekend with a 7-1 rout of the Riverside Rangers before blanking the Lake Erie North Stars by a 4-0 score. Tecumseh now has a record of 6-4-0 within the BHL and an overall mark of 15-5-0 on the season.

Tecumseh 7, Riverside 1. Dom Barry clicked for the hat trick, Brock Donais potted a pair and Michael Janceski and Carter Pluss had solo goals in front of winning goalie Owen Whitehead.

Tecumseh 4, Lake Shore 0. Christian Zgomba was perfect between the pipes, Michael Janceski hammered home two goals and Dom Barry and Seb Lehoux both dented the twine once in the shutout triumph.
