Titans await U16 Spitfires
It is an eight division, 48 team event for players from the 2010 age group. And the Windsor Jr. Spitfires will be one of the four dozen under 16 level AAA teams that will take part at the prestigious Toronto Titans Early Bird Hockey Tournament that is slated for this weekend.
Heavily scouted by general managers and scouts from the 20 teams of the Ontario Hockey League, the U16 Jr. Spitfires will be out to showcase their abilities.
U16 Jr. Spitfires head coach Matt Zuccato told Hockey News Windsor that he likes what he has been seeing from his team ahead of the Titans Tournament — and the subsequent ’25-26 season as members of the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario.
“Our practices have been high intensity and you see the eagerness to learn and that’s all we can ask for right now,” said Zuccato.
“We are looking forward to seeing our players apply what they have learned so far. It’s been a very tight group in such a short time together. We are looking forward to the Titans tournament to kick off our season,” added Zuccato.

SKATERS: Jason Beaudoin, Hunter Comtois, Gavin Diemer, Cooper Disher, Logan Disher, Liam Fitzmaurice, John Fountaine, Lucas Guevremont, Macoy Holmes, Nathan Mariuz, Marco Masse, Evan Samrah, Roman Shtefan, Carter Trudell and Alexander West.
