Tecumseh wins and ties

A home and home set with the Kent Cobras produced a win and a tie for the Tecumseh Eagles this weekend in the hotly contested under 15 rep level Bluewater Hockey League.

Tecumseh 6, Kent 0. Christian Zgomba made multiple big saves for the shutout and Seb Lehoux netted the hat trick to lead the Eagles to a Saturday night road whitewash. Wes Smith, Michael Janceski and captain Cam Girard also found range for Tecumseh.

Tecumseh 3, Kent 3. The Eagles were in tough as the Cobras played a very effective road game on Sunday. In short, neither team deserved to lose the hard fought tussle. Tecumseh got goals from Carter Pluss, Seb Lehoux and Michael Janceski in front of goalie Owen Whitehead, who turned in a tidy effort.

Tecumseh now has a regular season record of 8-4-1 within the BHL and is 15-6-1 overall.

STANDINGS: There is a three way race for first place within the eight team Bluewater Hockey League. Kent Cobras are 9-3-1, Talbot Trailblazers are 8-3-2 and Tecumseh Eagles have a record of 8-4-1.
