A pair of weekend wins has the Tecumseh Eagles of the Under 15 rep level Bluewater Hockey League with a record of 4-0 with two games to go in the first round of the round robin playoff format.

Tecumseh finished atop the regular season standings of the eight team BHL with a record of 15-5-1.

Tecumseh 6, Kent Cobras 2. Playing on the road, Tecumseh got two goals from Dom Barry and solo scores from Carter Pluss, Daniel Thompson, Nash Lemay and warrior defenseman Owen Sutton en route to the victory. Christian Zgomba got the net win for the Eagles.

Tecumseh 8, Belle River Canadiens 0. The Eagles soared to a 4-0 first period lead and added four more to ice a decisive win that was somewhat tainted by the infantile antics of Belle River, which seemed intent to try to goad Tecumseh into one skirmish after another. Dom Barry triggered the Tecumseh offense with three goals, the hard toiling Daniel Thompson chipped in with two and Seb Lehoux, Michael Janceski and the electrifying Carter Pluss all found the back of the net once. Owen Whitehead got the shutout win for the Eagles.

Playoff format. All eight teams in the BHL are in the playoffs beginning with a two division, round robin format of six games apiece. The top two teams in each division will then advance to the league semi finals which will be best of three sets.
