Tecumseh off to final four
A record of 5-0-1 through their six round robin games in the opening round of the playoffs in the Under 15 rep level of the Bluewater Hockey League has the Tecumseh Eagles headed to a best of three semi final series.
Tecumseh, first place finishers during the regular season, will face the Talbot Trailblazers in one of the two semi final sets in the BHL. Windsor Jr. Spitfires will play the Kent Cobras in the other. Both sets begin this week.

The eight teams of the BHL split up into two divisions of four in the first round of the playoffs with all clubs playing six games apiece.
As for Tecumseh, it clinched first place in its division on the weekend when it tied Kent 2-2. Tecumseh then finished its six game round robin with a 5-2 win over the Lake Erie North Stars.
Tecumseh 2, Kent 2. A pair of goals late in the third period salvaged a 2-2 tie for the Eagles, who were widely outplayed by the visiting Cobras for the majority of the game. Tecumseh goalie Owen Whitehead turned in a strong 34 save performance and was on the bench for an extra skater as the Eagles rallied to tie the game on clock ticking goals by Levi Yates and Seb Lehoux.
Tecumseh 5, Lake Erie 2. On the road in Amherstburg, the Eagles got a pair of goals from Seb Lehoux and solo markers from Dom Barry, Michael Janceski and Carter Pluss in front of winning goalie Christian Zgomba.
