Tecumseh lights up Talbot
The Eagles were flying on Friday. A see saw start to the game turned into a decisive decision for the Tecumseh Eagles over the visiting Talbot Trail Blazers in Under 15 rep level Bluewater Hockey League action.
Dom Barry netted three goals, electrifying forward Carter Pluss potted a pair and Michael Janceski, Seb Lehoux and Myles Gray tucked in one apiece as the Eagles soared to an 8-2 verdict. Gray’s goal was a breakaway beauty as the hard working forward used his separation speed to deposit a dandy in the back of the Talbot net.
Owen Whitehead fashioned a fine effort between the Tecumseh pipes with 26 saves and the Eagles improved their record in BHL play to 7-4-0 and an overall mark of 15-6-0 on the season.
Tecumseh, Talbot and the Kent Cobras are in a three team race for first place within the eight member BHL.
