Tecumseh all over Lake Erie

Tecumseh Eagles made it two wins in a row to begin the playoffs in the Under 15 rep level Bluewater Hockey League with a 7-1 home ice win over the visiting  Lake Erie North Stars on Wednesday.

The Eagles skated to a 5-0 first period lead en route to the decisive victory.

It was a balanced scoring attack for Tecumseh, which got two goals from Seb Lehoux and solo tallies from Dom Barry, Michael Janceski, Daniel Thompson, Nash Lemay and Wesley Smith in front of winning goalie Owen Whitehead.

Tecumseh finished the regular season in first place with a record of 15-5-1 while Lake Erie placed fifth with an 8-8-5 mark.

All eight teams in the BHL are in the playoffs beginning with a two division, round robin format of six games apiece. The top two teams in each division will then advance to the league semi finals which will be best of three sets.
