Spitfires survive the Storm
Ethan Belchetz scored in overtime to propel the Spitfires to a 3-2 overtime win over the Guelph Storm tonight before close to 5,600 fans at the WFCU Centre.
The goal was the sixth of the ’25-26 Ontario Hockey League season for Belchetz. Ethan Garden scored Windsor’s first two goals of the game, his third and fourth of the season.
Joey Costanzo made 15 saves to improve his perfect record to 6-0-0 for the Spitfires who, as a team now have an 8-1-0 mark.
