It was a night for the Windsor defense up in Sault Ste. Marie. Ace defender Anthony Cristoforo tallied twice, Carter Hicks scored once and fellow blue liner Carson Woodall dished out two more assists as the Spitfires skated to a 4-1 Saturday night win over the Soo Greyhounds.

Notably, Woodall now has a team leading 13 points — all assists — in 10 games for the Spitfires, who have a record of 9-1-0 atop the Western Conference of the Ontario Hockey League.

Second year forward Ethan Belchetz, with his seventh goal of the season, also scored for the Spitfires in the win up north. Meanwhile, Joey Costanzo made 16 saves to improve his record to 7-0-0 with a league best 1.13 goals against average and .947 save percentage.

The Spitfires will return home for a 2:05 p.m. Thanksgiving day matinee match when they play host to the Oshawa Generals at the WFCU Center.
