Spitfires go on the Attack
The first place Spitfires put the toppings on $1 hot dog night before 5,000 plus fans at the WFCU Center this evening.
Cole Davis dented the twine for his 11th goal of the season and added an assist and workhorse goalie Joey Costanzo made 25 saves for his 13th win of the ’25-26 campaign as Windsor upended the visiting Owen Sound Attack by a 3-1 margin.
A.J. Spellacy and ace defenseman Anthony Cristoforo also scored for the Spitfires, who improved their record atop the Western Conference of the Ontario Hockey League to 18-5-3, good for 39 points.
