LaSalle Vipers face Elmira
LaSalle Vipers will be in tough against the Elmira Sugar Kings in the first round of the upcoming Greater Ontario Hockey League Western Conference playoffs.
With 53 points from a record of 25-22-3, seventh seed LaSalle finished well behind second place Elmira, which put up 77 points from a record of 37-10-3.
Over 50 regular season games, Elmira scored 233 goals and allowed 139 while LaSalle tallied 188 goals and gave up 180.
At Elmira. Games 1 and 2 in the best of seven series are set for Friday and Sunday of this week at Dan Snyder Memorial Arena in Elmira.
At LaSalle. The series will then shift to the Vollmer Centre in LaSalle for Games 3 and 4. They are slated for Wednesday, March 18 and Saturday, March 21 at 7:00 both nights.
