Mount B in a Yeck of a race
Mount Brydges Bulldogs are part of a five team fight for top positioning in the high octane West Yeck Division of the Provincial Jr. Hockey League.
With one game remaining on its regular season slate, Mount Brydges is in a three way tie for second place in the West Yeck with the Exeter Hawks and Petrolia Flyers. And while the three teams are just one point back of the first place Thamesford Trojans, they are just two points up on the North Middlesex Stars.
Whew.
Meanwhile, as Mount Brydges has just the one game left to play in the regular season — a home match this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Tri Town Arena against North Middlesex — the other contenders all have more remaining matches than the Bulldogs.
Exeter and Petrolia both have three games left to play while Thamesford and North Middlesex each have two.
