He is on his way to Flint
Flint Firebirds have made a major addition to their Ontario Hockey League Western Conference title hopes by acquiring high scoring captain Kevin He from the Niagara IceDogs.
The Chinese-born He, a 2006 birth year forward and signed National Hockey League draft pick of the Winnipeg Jets, had 14 goals, 17 assists, 31 points in 28 games for Flint this season.
He (in photo at left) joins a high-end Flint outfit that has a two point lead over Windsor atop the Western Conference standings with the Spitfires holding a game in hand.
Flint and Niagara exchanged multiple draft picks in the trade while the IceDogs also added 2007 birth year forward Chase Hull in the deal.
