Spitfires draft pick Ty Dubreuil made a decisive impression in his first ever Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League game as a 2009 birth year forward.
The speedy right winger scored the game winning goal on the power play at the midway point of the third period to lift the Sudbury Cubs to a 3-2 win over the Blind River Beavers in an NOJHL exhibition match on Thursday.
Dubreuil was taken by Windsor in the 14th round of this year’s Ontario Hockey League priority selections draft from the North Bay Under 16 Trappers of the Northern Ontario Hockey Association’s Great North Under 18 League.
