GOHL tweaks its set up
The addition of the Woodstock Navy Vets as an expansion team has led to a conference realignment for the Greater Ontario Hockey League.
Now a 24 team league with Woodstock on board, the Navy Vets will become members of the Western Conference while the Waterloo Siskins will shift to the Eastern Conference effective the ’26-27 season.
The moves result in two 12 team conferences for the ’26-27 season.
Western Conference. Chatham Maroons, Elmira Sugar Kings, Komoka Kings, LaSalle Vipers, Listowel Cyclones, London Nationals, Sarnia Legionnaires, St. Mary’s Lincolns, St. Thomas Stars, Stratford Warriors, Strathroy Rockets, Woodstock Navy Vets.
Eastern Conference. Ayr Centennials, Brantford Titans, Caledonia Corvairs, Cambridge Redhawks, Fort Erie Meteors, Hamilton Steel, Pelham Panthers, Port Colborne Sailors, St. Catharines Falcons, Stoney Creek Generals, Waterloo Siskins, Welland Canadians.
