Spitfires draft pick Ty Dubreuil had a game winning outing for the Sudbury Cubs of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League on Saturday night.

Ty Dubreuil

The 2009 birth year forward, who is rounding into fine form after missing 11 games with a wrist injury, broke a 1-1 tie by potting the game winning goal with just over three minutes to play in the third period. League leading Sudbury then added an empty net tally for a 3-1 road victory over the Blind River Beavers to improve its record to 20-6-2 atop the NOJHL standings.

For Dubreuil, who Windsor took in the 14th round of the 2025 Ontario Hockey League priority selections draft, the goal was his second of the season in 17 games for Sudbury. The game winning goal also gave Dubreuil first star honours in the win at Blind River.
