Rookie general manager Spencer Hyman has added another building block to the Brantford Bulldogs. Hyman has acquired 2008 birth year forward Ryan Chamberlain from the Sarnia Sting for an eighth round draft pick.

Chamberlain was a fifth round pick by Sarnia at the 2024 Ontario Hockey League priority selections draft. He got into 20 games with Sarnia over the course of the ’24-25 season.

Earlier this off season, the 31 year old Hyman moved multiple draft picks to obtain high scoring overage forward Sam McCue in a transaction with the Flint Firebirds. Hyman also sent a seventh round pick to the London Knights for sand paper forward Ryder Boulton, who has a 2006 birth date.

Brantford is widely expected to again be a top team in the Eastern Conference in ’25-26 and a serious contender for the OHL championship.
