Brantford adds from Flint
Separate Ontario Hockey League trades with the Flint Firebirds have yielded a 2008 birth year defenseman and a 2009 birth year forward for the Brantford Bulldogs.
Bulldogs general manager Spencer Hyman peddled a third round draft pick in 2027 to Flint for 6 foot 4, 210 pound defenseman George Komadoski. Komadoski played in 54 games for Flint as a rookie in ’25-26.
Brantford then added Windsor-Essex product Brayden Lappalainen from Flint for a second round pick in 2029.
As a rookie forward, Lappalainen had 15 goals in 58 games, playoffs included, for the Leamington Flyers of the Ontario Jr. Hockey League in ’25-26. Lappalainen was a third round pick by Flint from the Sun County Panthers of the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario at the 2025 OHL priority selection draft.
