J.C. Lemieux hit for the hat trick, captain Liam Greentree tallied twice, Jack Nesbitt notched a goal and four assists and the Spitfires doubled up the visiting Brampton Steelheads 6-3 on Saturday.

Rookie goalie Michael Newlove made 23 saves for his fourth win of the season as the backup to overage standout Joey Costanzo.

With the win, Windsor ran its record to 15-3-2 through 20 games and maintained its lead atop the Western Conference of the Ontario Hockey League with 32 points.

Notably, Lemieux, with the three goal showing, has seven on the season while Greentree has now scored 12 times in 12 games.
