The Spitfires have hit the road following the holiday hiatus and will be in Sault Ste. Marie this weekend for a pair of games against their Ontario Hockey League West Division rival Greyhounds.

Game times are Saturday at 7:07 p.m. and Sunday at 2:07 p.m. and Steve Bell will relay the ice activity via live play by play on radio station AM 800 CKLW.

Windsor is in first place among the five teams of the West Division, second in the 10 member Western Conference and tied for second overall in the OHL with a record of 23-7-3.

The Greyhounds, meanwhile, take a record of 15-18-0 into the weekend. They are fourth in the West Division and seventh in the Western Conference.

Windsor cannot afford to take the Red & White of the Soo lightly.

The Greyhounds have taken two of three games from the Spitfires thus far this season. The Spitfires began the six game regular season slate between the two teams with a 5-0 whitewash. The Greyhounds then responded with a 3-1 road victory and then won 2-1 in overtime in the Soo from which the Spitfires gained a point.
