A reverse course continues in Windsor. Joey Costanzo made 25 saves for his 29th win of the season and the Spitfires ran their Ontario Hockey League record  to 38-12-4 with a 4-1 Family Day victory over the visiting Owen Sound Attack.

Windsor now has 80 points on the ’24-25 OHL season and remains in first place  in the West Division and as the no. 2 seed among the 10 teams of the Western Conference.

Rookie forward J.C. Lemieux, import Ilya Protas, captain Liam Greentree and homegrown overage Noah Morneau all slipped in solo goals for the Spitfires today while ace defenseman Anthony Cristoforo had two assists.

The Spitfires managed only 44 points all of last season in missing the OHL playoffs with a record of 18-42-8.
