Spitfires ink another pick
High scoring forward Max Brocklehurst is signed and sealed with the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League.
Hailing from Bedford, Nova Scotia, the 5-foot-8, 165 pound skater starred for the New Hampshire Mountain Kings in 2023-2024 and lit it up to the tune of a league best 71 goals, 83 assists, 154 points in 58 games.
Brocklehurst was taken by the Spitfires in the third round of the 2024 OHL priority selections draft.
He becomes the fifth player from the ’24 priority selections to sign with the Spitfires. The others are first rounder Ethan Belchetz, second rounders J.C. Lemieux and Carter Hicks and seventh rounder Jake Windbiel. Belchetz and Lemieux are both forwards, Hicks is a defenseman and Windbiel is a goalie.
