Saginaw moves a goalie
Memorial Cup champion Saginaw Spirit has sent 2004 birth year goalie Nolan Lalonde to the Kingston Frontenacs in a summer breeze of an Ontario Hockey League trade.
Should Lalonde — who would be an overager — play a game in the OHL for Kingston in 2024-2025, Saginaw would receive future third round and seventh round draft picks for the big goalie, who is a signed National Hockey League prospect of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Lalonde shared goalie duties for Saginaw during the 2023-2024 OHL season with fellow 2004 birth year puck stopper Andrew Oke. Oke is expected to return to Saginaw as an overager in ’24-25.

He also did a great job picking up duties during the playoffs. Pleasure to watch him play!
