NCAA deal for Morneau
Spitfires overage forward Noah Morneau will take advantage of the recent ruling that makes Ontario Hockey League players eligible for Division 1, National Collegiate Athletic Association scholarships effective the ’25-26 season.
A local Windsor product and former 15th round Ontario Hockey League draft pick by the Spitfires, the 20 year old Morneau (in photo at left) has committed to the Bowling Green State University Falcons for next season.
Morneau is currently third on the Spitfire scoring chart with eight goals, 16 assists, 24 points and is part of a Windsor team that is challenging for the lead in the Western Conference of the OHL. He has played in 155 career OHL games for the Spitfires.
