Flight of the Spitfires

First place in the West Division of the Ontario Hockey League is all but clinched for the Spitfires. So too is the no. 2 seed for the Western Conference playoffs.

With its recent home ice win over Saginaw, Windsor now holds a 17 point lead on the Spirit for top spot in the West Division. With a record of 39-13-5, the Spitfires have 83 points and 11 games left in the regular season. Windsor is second only to the London Knights for the all important seedings in the Western Conference ahead of the playoffs.

The OHL regular season concludes on the March 21 weekend.
