Admirals in the median
Amhertsburg Admirals are betwixt and between in the West Stobbs Division of the Provincial Jr. C Hockey League with just five games to play on the regular season slate.
The Admirals are in fourth place among the eight teams of the West Stobbs with 39 points from a record of 18-16-3. They hold a slim one point lead on both the Blenheim Blades and Mooretown Flags.
Amherstburg is coming off of a helter skelter weekend of play. The Admirals handed the first place Essex 73’s only their third loss of the season, a 3-2 overtime verdict, only to drop a one-sided 8-1 decision to Blenheim.
Amherstburg begins its wrap on the ’24-25 regular season schedule with a pair of home games this Saturday and Sunday against the last place Walpole Island Wild and the second seed Lakeshore Canadiens.
The Admirals will conclude the regular season on February 15th ahead of the playoffs.
