LaSalle Vipers win and lose
A road victory followed by a home opener setback have the LaSalle Vipers with a record of 1-1-0 through their first two outings of the ’26-27 Greater Ontario Hockey League regular season.
LaSalle 5, Komoka Kings 2. Playing at Komoka, the Vipers got a pair of goals from Kale Pucovsky and solo tallies from captain Connor Chartrand, Max Howlett and affiliate player Ben Muscedere en route to the road triumph. 2010 birth year rookie Nolan Hardy — an eighth round pick of the Windsor Spitfires at the 2026 Ontario Hockey League priority selections draft, in photo at left — made 31 saves to backstop the Vipers to the verdict.
St. Mary’s Lincolns 4, LaSalle 2. Playing at home, the Vipers were outshot 47-23 by the visitors from St. Mary’s. Cam Ingram stood tall with 43 saves for the Vipers, who got goals from Tristan Kitchen and Jonah McIndoo.
