Sudbury Cubs to LaSalle Vipers
Ty Dubreuil, a 6 foot, 170 pound forward and 2025 Ontario Hockey League priority selections draft pick of the Windsor Spitfires, has signed with the LaSalle Vipers of the Greater Ontario Hockey League.
Dubreuil, who has a 2009 birth date, spent the ’25-26 season with the eventual champion Sudbury Cubs of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League.
As the youngest player on a powerhouse Sudbury team, Dubreuil (in photo at left) had five goals, six assists, 11 points in 39 regular season games of limited duty. He then had a goal and an assist in five playoff outings before an upper body injury ended his season.
In heading from his hometown of Sudbury to LaSalle, Dubreuil joins a Vipers squad that is the top affiliate of the OHL Spitfires. Notably, Dubreuil has grown two inches since Windsor took him in the 14th round of the ’25 OHL Draft.
