Jesse Debruyn is joining the Spitfires from the Komoka Kings of the Greater Ontario Hockey League, Hockey News Windsor has confirmed.

Debruyn, a 6 foot, 185 pound defenseman with a 2009 birth date, was Windsor’s fourth round pick at the 2025 Ontario Hockey League priority selections draft from the Huron Perth Lakers of the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario.

Debruyn (in photo at left) played in 47 regular season games for Komoka this season as one of the youngest defenseman in the entire GOHL. He had eight goals, 19 assists, 27 points from his blue line position.

Injuries to a number of veteran players over the past while have depleted the Spitfires’ roster and thus resulted in the promotion of Debruyn.
