U15 Tecumseh cuffs Kent
Hard working forward Carter Pluss planted a pair of pucks and the Tecumseh Eagles clipped the Kent Cobras 4-1 tonight in the opening game of the championship series in the Under 15 rep level Bluewater Hockey League.
Playing at home, Tecumseh turned in a tidy all around effort that, besides the two goals from Pluss, featured solo markers from Wesley Smith and Nash Lemay. Lemay’s empty net goal with just over two minutes to play in the third period sealed the deal for Tecumseh, which got 15 saves and good goaltending from Christian Zgomba.
Game 2 in the best of three title series is slated for Wednesday evening in Tilbury.
