Mount B on a good run
Four straight victories have the Mount Brydges Bulldogs within three points of first place in the hotly contested West Yeck Division of the Provincial Jr. C Hockey League.
Mount Brydges has 41 points from a record of 18-9-5 and is in fourth place. The Bulldogs are at Thamesford on Friday of this week before a Saturday evening home encounter with the Lucan Irish. Saturday’s game time is 7:30 at Tri Town Ice Arena.
Nolan Griffiths leads Mount Brydges in scoring with nine goals, 22 assists, 31 points. Up next are Ben Landers with 17-11-28 totals and three players with 26 points apiece — Logan Gianelli (13-13-26), Logan Forster (9-17-26) and Alex Laszlo (8-18-26.)
No less than six of the eight teams in the West Yeck Division have records well above the .500 mark.
