Bulldogs of West Yeck

Mount Brydges Bulldogs are one of six teams of the eight member West Yeck Division of the Provincial Jr. C Hockey League who are well above the .500 mark at the Christmas holiday break.

The Bulldogs, who resume play on Saturday, Dec. 28 with a 7:30 p.m. home match against the Aylmer Spitfires, have 33 points from 28 games thus far this season.

Mount Brydges, which is in fourth place, trails the division leading Exeter Hawks (39 points in 28 games), second seed Port Stanley Sailors (38 points in 27 games) and third slot Petrolia Flyers (37 points in 29 games) among the top half of the West Yeck.

Not far behind are the fifth place Thamesford Trojans (32 points in 29 games) and the North Middlesex Stars (31 points in just 24 games.)

Then come the Lucan Irish (16 points in 29 games) and the Aylmer Spitfires (15 points in 29 games) to round out the West Yeck standings.

Individually, Mount Brydges has five players who have passed the 20 point mark. They are Ben Landers (16-9-25), Nolan Griffiths (7-17-24), Logan Gianelli (12-11-23), Alex Laszlo ((8-14-22) and Logan Forster (8-13-21.)
