Momentum in Mount B

There is little room for error within the eight member West Yeck Division of the Provincial Jr. C Hockey League as just six points separate the top six teams.

And with three straight wins and a record of 8-1-0 in their last nine outings, the surging Mount Brydges Bulldogs are serving their own notice of contention.

With 30 points from a record of 13-7-4, Mount Brydges resides in fourth place in the division with four games to play before Christmas — two on the road this weekend followed by two more at home.

The Bulldogs have added some veteran skaters of late including Nolan Burnside, Tim Jozsa and Nick Mazza who have aided in the momentum gain in Mount Brydges.

And Mount Brydges president Andy Friyia said more help may be on the way.

“We will continue to add where needed,” Friyia relayed to Hockey News Windsor.
